Projekt architektoniczny użyteczności publicznej - Parkour AWF

Parkour for Academy of Physical Education in Poznan

The following design concerns creating technical elements made of concrete and steel, which are used for individual and group exercices in the fresh air. This kind of activity is called ‘Parkour’ what means the art of movement (Fr. l’art du déplacement). The space is the most important aspect of doing Parkour. To achieve high standard of this space, the design connects the art of movement with the art of avant-garde artists, for exaplme Katarzyna Kobro. Proportions, divisions and the abstract notion of the infinite space, which Kobro included in her works, were the inspiration for the project. Designed elements of the park provide the users with different abilities to exercise.
